LIGHTNING SHIP S.A. (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED – STANDARD RETURNS POLICY.

  1. If you are not satisfied with items purchased, you can return them to us and we will either replace or give you a refund, subject to the terms and conditions set out below terms. This Policy is part of our general terms and conditions and it applies to items purchased from our online store at lightningshipstore.com
A.   RETURNS

  1. To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible, please clearly mark your reference number on the outside of the parcel and include all accessories and parts that were sold with the item.
  1. Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.
  1. Please note that you will be responsible for all the return shipping and handling charges.

B.   REFUNDS

  1. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned

item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

  1. If your refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
  1. Please allow at least ……………… calendar days to process refunds from the date of approval of the refund.

C.   EXCHANGES

  1. To be eligible for an exchange, you will need to let us know the alternate item you wish to receive and its colour, size, dimensions, etc. and if the item is available, we will facilitate the delivery of the replacement to you, subject to you bearing the shipping and handling charges.
  1. If the replacement is not available, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment
D.   CHARGES AND REFUNDS

If you return a defective item to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that item, we are entitled to refuse the return, or only to replace the item that you did return; or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only.

 

  1. If you return an item that does not comply with this Policy, you may be liable to reimburse the Company for the cost of collecting the item from you and the cost of having the item returned to you.

E.   EXCEPTIONS

  1. The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
  1. Items that were sold on a “sale” or “clearance” basis;
  2. Items sold at discounted prices because their original packaging was damaged, unsealed or missing;
  3. damaged or used items;
  4. items whose original labels and stickers or seals are missing;
  5. items with missing accessories or parts;
  6. Swimwear, masks, underwear, etc
  1. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
  2. If we accidentally deliver the wrong item to you, or if the item is defective or damaged, please contact customer services soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within ……………… daysafter delivery of the item.
  1. We will arrange to collect the item from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the item and validated your return, we will either repair (if repair is possible), or replace as soon as possible (if we have the same item in stock to use as a replacement) or credit your account with the purchase price of the item.
  1. Where there is no extended supplier warranty, we will not be able to facilitate a return of the item if the report is made after the period stipulated in paragraph 17 hereof.
  1. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

An item may have a manufacturer’s warranty that extends beyond the period stipulated in paragraph 17 hereof and if such item turns out to be defective after this period, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within the manufacturer’s warranty period after delivery.
  1. We will provide you with the relevant manufacturer’s contact details. Alternatively, you can notify the relevant manufacturer directly if you already have its details.
  1. Where a report has been made in terms of paragraph 20, the remedy available will be in the manufacturer’s discretion and Lightning Ship S.A. will be under no obligation to provide a remedy to you.
  1. The manufacturer’s warranty is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the manufacturer and it is your responsibility to make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions.
  1. AMENDMENT OF THIS POLICY
  1. Lightning Ship S.A (Proprietary) Limited shall have the right at any time to amend this policy. The new terms and conditions brought into being by any such amendment shall be binding on you unless, your claims for a return, refund/replacement was received prior to the amendment.
